Nova campanha para a Coleman Campsite, fabricante de todos os tipos de equipamentos e ferramentas para camping que você pode imaginar, e que reúne amantes de camping do mundo inteiro. A criação é da agência Doner, e a campanha segue o conceito “The Original Social Networking Site”, em que os caras dizem ter inventado o conceito de Social Networking, onde desde sua existência eles ajudam as pessoas a estarem ligadas umas as outras, socializando e conectando-as.
A marca afirma que há centenas de anos ela tem disponibilzado através de seus equipamentos para acampamento, diversas formas de as pessoas se conhecerem, e acabaram criando um tipo de movimento. Movimento esse que, por muitos anos, foi chamado apenas de “acampar e passar um tempo com os amigos”, mas que agora podemos chamar dos primórdios do “social networking”, pois as pessoas além de irem com os seus próprios amigos, acabam conhecendo outras pessoas, e ampliando a sua rede de relacionamentos com outros grupos de amigos.
Seguindo esse conceito a campanha se estende através do site da marca, onde é possível conferir as peças de mídia impressa, alguns wallpapers, aplicativos de iPhone (o Coleman Lantern e o Coleman Campfire Tales), 2 comerciais de TV ironizando as redes sociais, além de, ironicamente, participar de um grupo do Facebook.
