Yo Teach…! | NBC apresenta seriado falso em campanha viral do filme Funny People

Para começar uma campanha viral do filme Funny People, foi colocado no YouTube um trailer do fictÃcio seriado “Yo Teach…!”, estrelado por Jason Schwartzman. Esta é uma das primeiras ações de marketing adotado pelo estúdio Universal para promover o filme com estréia prevista para o dia 31 de julho.
Criada por Judd Apatow, a série é estrelada por Jason Schwartzman e gira em torno do Sr. Bradford, um professor de inglês que dá aulas para uma turma de alunos repetentes por envolvimentos com drogas, gravidez na adolescência e outras questões. Yo Teach é na verdade uma paródia dos seriados Head of the Class, Hanging With Mr. Cooper e Saved By the Bell.
A NBC disponibilizou em seu site a página oficial da série falsa, com video, galeria de fotos, e até a venda do box da primeira temporada da série. Sim, porque o site anuncia: “Yo Teach!” foi renovada para uma segunda temporada!
Já o filme “Funny People“, escrito e dirigido por Judd Apatow, é uma produção estrelada por Adam Sandler. Ele interpreta George Simmons, um stand-up comedian (comediante que se apresenta sozinho em bares, shows, etc) que descobre estar à beira da morte.
