Escrever “Lave-me” sobre um carro empoeirado é realmente tentador. É mais ou menos esse o mote de uma iniciativa sendo executada pela MINI.
Para comemorar os 50 anos da marca, a BMW e a MINI da SuÃça tiveram a ideia de reunir 12 artistas locais e 10 MINI Coopers num projeto chamado Wash Me. O projeto consistia em usar os carros como tela para representar situações do dia-a-dia. O resultado disso é o livro “MINI Wash Meâ€, publicado este mês, com apenas 2000 exemplares. Todo o projeto foi coordenado pelo diretor de arte e fotógrafo Nico Ammann, e os artistas que participaram foram: Smash137, Fabian Bertschinger, Marisa Pichler, Gigi Burn, Tika, Euro, Aurèle Sack, Stefan Ege, Seak, August, Rémi Jaccard e Dieter Meier.
O resultado são trabalhos muito diferentes. Existe apenas uma coisa em comum: nenhum dos dez artistas já havia trabalhado com o carro como “quadro” para uma obra de arte. Isso exigiu uma mente aberta, coragem e determinação para mergulhar no desconhecido, criando dez obras únicas. Mais uma vez a marca MINI agregando valores culturais e o seu compromisso com os amantes da arte contemporânea.
O livro que resultou do projeto não mostra apenas as obras finalizadas, mas também todo o processo criativo desses artistas, com uma abordagem criativa e única de cada obra, tudo regado de muitas fotos (como vocês podem ver nas imagens acima). Abaixo um vÃdeo making of que vale a pena conferir.
